DESCRIPTION: POLICY & ADVOCACY CRASH COURSEYou'll leave with new skills and we'll gain a cohort of trained advocates who can articulate and champion our policy goals. So, we are inviting you to participate in a 4-part education series focused on helping you become a skilled advocate for the issues you hold most dear.THIS COURSE IS FOR ALUMNI AND SITE SUPERVISORS ONLY.DETAILS:- Participating will require up to 3-4 HOURS OF WORK per month, which includes class session time. - All sessions are web-based.- This program is open to all FoodCorps alumni.- You will be assigned small action items and readings for each session.- You will be asked to complete a short session evaluation so that we know you watched the session.- Sessions will take place each Tuesday at 12:30pm HT / 3:30pm PT / 4:30pm MT / 5:30pm CT / 6:30pm ET on these dates: May 7, 14, 21, 28
